I had the opportunity to document a very special project by the Freiburg-based collective Krachgarten e.V.: the Waschstrasse—a mobile, pretty crazy shower station for festivalgoers. What brings people together here? Love, music, tons of energy, and folks who are ready to let loose to the music—dressed in oversized sponge costumes and ready to help festivalgoers get their long-awaited shower. So much positive energy and glorious madness all at once? It really spoke to me right away, of course.
